HomeFirst™, formerly EHC LifeBuilders, is a leading provider of services, shelter, and housing opportunities to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Santa ClaraCounty. We serve more than 5,600 adults, veterans, families, and youth each year at eight locations including the BoccardoReceptionCenter, which is the county’s largest homeless services center.

EHC-PictureOrganization Mission: HomeFirst confronts homelessness by cultivating people’s potential to get housed and stay housed.

Mental Health Services: HomeFirst operate eight sites across Santa Clara County serving families, youth, veterans, and the chronically homelessness to get housed and stay housed. We also provide mental health counseling.

Other System of Care or Related Services:  We provide various services, like emergency shelter, transitional housing, employment services to our clientele to get housed and stay housed. HomeFirst operate two family living centers in Santa Clara and San Martin as well as a shelter for youth in downtown San Jose.

Language Capacity: Our language capacity includes: English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
