Organization Mission: Chamberlain’s Mental Health Services (CMHS) provides culturally sensitive treatment to ameliorate behavioral dysfunctions and/or psychological distress in children and families, primarily in South Santa Clara County.
Mental Health Services:
- Chamberlain’s operates an outpatient clinic which includes school-based services in Gilroy Unified School District (GUSD) campuses. We provide individual/ family/ and group therapy, case management, as well as medication evaluation & management. Presenting problems include depression, anxiety, aggression, trauma, poor social skills, domestic violence and abuse. Target population is children/youth from birth to 18 years and their families. Eligible participants have either Medi-Cal or no insurance. No restriction on referral sources.
- Our Day Treatment (DTI) includes intensive ½ day program for children 3-5 years of age and separate daily session for children 6-11 years of age. Primary modality is group therapy (eg, skill building), plus individual & family therapy. Medication evaluation & intervention. Aim is to stabilize current placement (eg, to prevent transfer to higher level of care). Transportation available. One of only 2 DTI programs certified by SCC MHD.
Other System of Care or Related Services: We also provide Supervised Visitation: service for families in which parents have separated or divorced but have a court order to allow the non-custodial parent to have regular visitation with their children under CMHS staff supervision. Funded by self-pay & SCC Superior Court Services/1st 5.
Language Capacity: Our language capacity includes: Spanish, English, Mandarin, and Japanese.
