BWC Logo_500pxOrganization Mission: Bill Wilson Center’s mission is to support and strengthen the community by serving youth and families through counseling, housing, education, and advocacy.  Our vision is to prevent poverty in the next generation by connecting youth to needed services to help them become independent.

Mental Health Services: We provide counseling, case management, and respite care to transition-age youth and youth and families through Medi-Cal, Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funds, and private pay. Services are available on school sites and in the community.

Other System of Care or Related Services: We provide grief counseling and Critical Incident Stress Management training through our Centre for Living with Dying program. Housing services for troubled youth, runaway and homeless youth, and youth aging out of fostercare include emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing, and rental support. Street outreach and a Drop-In Multi-Service Center is also available for homeless youth. Intensive treatment fostercare and foster-adopt services are provided to dependent youth and youth on probation.

Language Capacity: Our language capacity includes: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Greek, French, Hebrew, Russian, Portuguese, Hindi, Sindhi, Tamil, Dutch/Flemish, Punjabi, and Tagalog.

Departments Contracted With: Department of Mental Health, Probation, Social Services Agency, Health Department; State of California Office of Emergency Services, Federal Department of Health and Human Services and HUD.
