Mission statement: The mission of Abode Services is to end homelessness by assisting low-income, un-housed people, including those with special needs, to secure stable, supportive housing; and to be advocates for the removal of the causes of homelessness.
Mental Health Services: Abode Services works to help participants in our programs access the supportive services they need, including mental health services, to succeed in housing. We collaborate with service providers across Santa Clara County to provide vulnerable individuals with supportive services that promote their health and wellness. Currently, we are expanding our programming to include specialty mental health services for adults who are experiencing chronic homelessness.
Other Systems of Care:
We are the leading provider of housing services in Santa Clara County and act as the county’s administrator of rental assistance, with programs that provide rental assistance and housing placement to individuals who are chronically homeless, live with mental health disabilities and/or substance abuse, and are frequent users of emergency services. We also administer programs for families and single individuals with fewer barriers to housing using shorter-term housing assistance. Using a Housing First approach and interventions based on Harm Reduction and community-based treatment models, we help each individual work toward housing stability and wellness.
