Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI)

AACI pictureOrganization Mission: Focusing on the diverse Asian American community, AACI’s mission is to improve the health, mental health, and well-being of individuals and their families by providing an array of human services. AACI empowers the Asian community by working collaboratively for equality and social justice.

Mental Health Services: We provide mental health and substance abuse services as well as problem gambling treatment and drinking driver programs. We also serve Calworks clients and have a Transitional Housing Program for dually diagnosed clients with Calworks.

Drug and Alcohol Services for Criminal Justice System: Peer Leadership Uniting Students (PLUS) Program focuses on gang prevention with high risk API high school youths on the east-side.

Other Drug and Alcohol Services: AACI’s Adolescent Substance Abuse Program focuses on co-existing disorders and addresses both substance abuse and mental health.

Other System of Care or Related Services: We are a Federally Qualified Health Center and provide primary health care services. We also have a domestic violence shelter and provide domestic violence, senior and youth development services and advocacy. We also offer HIV / AIDS testing and education. Domestic Violence and Problem Gambling workshops, Youth Outreach services, Integrated Behavioral Health at Primary Care, New Refugee Prevention and Intervention Services and services for survivors of torture.

Language Capacity: Our language capacity includes over 40 languages and dialects.
